Mel Chircop is a Bay Area-based photographer specializing in portraiture and concept exploration via analog processes. They see photography as an energy capture—this energy being the essence of who or what is in front of their camera. They hold a BFA in Photography from San José State, where they presented their first solo show, Love & Identity. They have also shown work with the San José Institute of Contemporary Art, and created work for brands such as Beats by Dre and Sephora.
